Put in a trade order via email, they messed up my billing and delivery address,

The number on the invoice doesn't ring out, I have the fitters waiting all day at the property and Porcelain Superstore has delayed my project

Gutted that I didn’t read the reviews before trusting this company with my order. I called customer services to ask about the tiles that I wanted to order. I asked if they had any contrasting tiles of the same range/style. I was told no, all the tiles are the same and identical. The delivery was fairly straight forward with no issues. The tiler started to do his bit and then we come across tiles that were far lighter than the rest. We checked the batch was correct and the same and they were. I called customer service again and they told me that the tiles were different shades! I told her that I specifically called to ask and was told that all the tiles would be identical and the tiler had started fitting them and obviously hadn’t taken into account that the different shades should be randomised. She was fairly dismissive and told me that all the customer service agents would know that they were random shades CLEARLY NOT!! I’ve now had to pay extra to fix the problem that was completely avoidable. Not happy. My advice, AVOID this company they treat their customers with contempt…

Refuses to send samples and wont answer emails!

We asked for samples of 4 different porcelain tiles. We were very impressed with quick delivery. We are about to place an order and we have been asked to review them to get an extra 5% off. We will review again after we get them delivered on time. So far they have been excellent.

Ordered the tiles on the 24th June and received them on the 29th June, the day I had picked during checkout. The tiles are great quality and fair prices. The delivery person was respectful and took care, he was patient to let us check the tiles and even helped carry them indoors. Even took the pallet away for us. Really went above and beyond in my opinion.

I placed an order for tiles on 24th May knowing that they were on back order and would arrive on 1st June. I called for an update on 6th June and was told that they had arrived and would be despatched that day. As of now, 13th June, I have no tiles and no idea when they will arrive. Georgie in customer services is doing her best but cannot get an answer from the warehouse.
Yesterday the website would have promised me delivery of the tiles by Wednesday, which is ridiculous. This the last piece of a year long renovation and it is incredibly frustrating that a warehouse manager is holding everything up. Porcelain Superstore needs to get its act together.

UPDATE
I asked to speak to a manager yesterday afternoon and spoke to Sam - you’ll find his name in the responses to the * reviews. He undertook to investigate further, sending an update last night. Today he went to the warehouse himself and as a result I now have my tiles. I have upgraded my rating from * to *** as a result.

The cause of the delay was outside the company’s control but it was handled badly until I asked to speak to a manager.

As someone else on here has commented “great tiles, poor service”.

We have received our order today and boxes were wet but gladly in one piece.
When ordered we asked to cut some of them in half but of course our request was completely ignored(order £850 garden slabs). When i ask driver to wait a second to do inspection of the pallet he said he is in rush.
We are disappointed and won't back to this company again.

I read a few bad reviews before placing my order but I liked the tiles so much I decided to chance it.

Delivery was efficient, I was notified that some of our tiles would be delayed but they actually arrived on time.

There were no cracks or damaged tiles and when we discovered we hadn't ordered enough, they were kind enough to offer us a discount on delivery for our next order.

I've already recommended this company and will continue to do so!

I should have read the reviews before ordering.

Cancel order, which had express delivery, leaving me with no tiles when I needed them. Don't take customer's money if you don't have the stock! Don't trust if the item are in tock on the website.

Not happy at all!!! Ordered my tiles last week and arranged delivery for today, I HAD TO EMAIL TO FIND OUT WHERE MY DELIVERY WAS after waiting all day!! To be told out of stock u til July 11th!! Absolutely SHOCKING service, I’m fuming.

So you pay over £600 tiles and the 5 working days delivery costs £40. Then you realise they won't even bother to bring anything past the sidewalk and that you are liable for disposing the wooden pallet that comes with the tiles... Great!

Apart from that, they do indeed have nice tiles.

I've had many bad experiences with online companies in the last year so it's a pleasure to write a 5 star review of Porcelain Superstore.

Free samples delivered in a day and full delivery in a couple of days, great tiles at a great price and easy returns process with a refund given on 2 spare boxes of tiles. Victorian Plumbing take note!

Saved a fair but of money using this company and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Terrible company. Took my order, took my money and didn’t deliver the tiles. Now I am waiting for my money back. I won’t be using them again!

Ordered £1,200 of tiles. Delivery day offered for 2 days after ordering. Immediately after ordering, we were told the majority of the tiles were not in stock despite being able to select delivery in 2 days time (website said they were in stock).

Over the following two weeks they repeatedly lied about when we could expect delivery, knowing we would cancel if they have an honest delivery date. At one point we were told by a customer service agent that they would come in a few days whilst the founder himself later confirmed they weren’t even in the UK.

I ended up having to collect the tiles myself from a pallet delivery depot, 18 days after ordering. And we had to order the size we didn’t want, because they were unable to locate the ones we originally ordered.

The founder eventually offered a half hearted apology and significant refund for the trouble. Obviously after that email we never heard from them again and received no refund.

I am reporting this company to Trading Standards and strongly recommend you do not purchase tiles from them.

Our experience was by far 5 star! The staff went out of their way to help us select some replacement tiles that ended up being perfect. We had an express delivery that came from Manchester to Essexs most remote village the following day. Had the lovely girls not assisted us with photos and advice we wouldn't have managed to complete our kitchen on time. Absolutely blown away and very grateful. I would highly recommend.
